Acquisition Distribution Layer
CURADIS is a range of carded nonwovens made of different types of PET fibres.
The main utilization is for use as Acquisition-Distribution layers (ADL) for all types of baby and adult incontinence diapers as well as in sanitary napkins.
Two different web bonding processes, namely Resinbonded and Airthru bonded generate two main classes of products
Technical Description: Carded hydrophilic nonwoven made with a blend of regular and of bicomponent fibres that are bonded via airthru bonded process (ATB) .
The excellent capillarity and the permanent hydrophilicity allow an optimal and equalize their transmission to the absorbing core.
The nonwoven may be available in regular pancake or in spooled rolls .
Technical Description: is a carded resinbonded hydrophilic nonwoven made of PES fibres, bonded with an emulsion of SBR resins .
It performs an excellent capillarity and its permanent hydrophilicity allows an optimal and equalized transmission of the liquids to the absorbing core.
The material is preferably available in pancake rolls since at parity of diameter, one roll can store more then 1.5 time linear meter then an equivalent ATB type.
